| hey , choke is network related , we will discuss rates in the server next time. Yeah you need more ram , 1GB is safe minimum these days , and the vid card... what fps you getting ? For $100 you can get a very decent card that will give you 60+fps constant.OK that'll be $45 for the tech advice , please pay within 7 days , thankyou come again | |

| You dont need much to play a great game of CS:S.
Around 1 Gigabyte of DDR2 Ram 200 Gigabyte hard drive to be safe Intel Core 2 Duo 512MB Internet 8x Speed CD-ROM drive
Cost vary for each item, however buy a computer that will last for at least a year without a check up.
You could buy a new up to date computer that can do the same, however you'll be looking around the $1000 -> $1500 mark.

| yes, also known as PC-3200.
The thing will pcs is if your shit gets too old you cant upgrade without doing a complete rebuild.
Say you wanted ddr2 ram.. you would have to update your mobo, and im guessing your current mobo and gpu arnt pci-e so youd have to update your gpu also, and then theres the cpu... if its an older socket cpu you will have a hard time finding a good mobo that suits your socket and has ddr2 and pci-e, so youd end up having to update your cpu also.
its a vicious cycle. thats why i always tell people buying new shit to over look their upgrade paths.
